department faculty in Literary, Cultural, and Creative Studies are top researchers in the fields of British, American and anglophone literature and culture, with specialties in classics, modern and comparative literature and contemporary culture. A great variety of courses are offered each year: in addition to survey courses that introduce to students the canonical texts of British and American literature, courses in textual analysis and rhetoric, theory and global culture. The courses offered in this program follow current trends abroad in literature and culture, and a sampling includes \u201cLiterature for Children and Young Adults,\u201d \u201cPop Culture,\u201d \u201cSex\/Gender and Literature,\u201d \u201cRace,\u201d \u201cFantasy Literature,\u201d \u201cFilm Narration,\u201d and \u201cTheater Performance and Production.\u201d The NTNU English faculty in Literature also publish an academic research-based journal, <em><a style=\"color: #7a7a7a;\" href=\"http:\/\/www.concentric-literature.url.tw\/\">Concentric: Literary and Cultural Studies<\/a><\/em>, which has received awards from the National Science Council for outstanding
