Full-time Assistant Needed<\/strong><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Application is invited to fill a full-time position at the National Taiwan Normal University which provides administrative and research support to a YuShan fellow and chair professor in the English Department.<\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

Job description: <\/strong><\/p>

The administrative responsibilities include, amongst others,<\/p>

  1. providing support on budget management,<\/li>
  2. liaison and reception of overseas scholars,<\/li>
  3. organization of international symposia.<\/li><\/ol>

    The research responsibilities include, amongst others, quantitative and qualitative data collection and data analysis.<\/p>

    \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

    Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>

    The applicant should have high levels of English proficiency (C1) and Chinese proficiency and a master\u2019s degree in a reputable university in Taiwan or overseas, preferably in the areas of applied linguistics \/ linguistics research.\u00a0 Candidates who have conducted quantitative and qualitative research in the humanities and social sciences may also apply.<\/p>

    Starting salary<\/strong>: $40,845 \/ month (negotiable according to work experience).<\/p>
