【代公告】Call for Co-PI Applications: 2026 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS)
Dear Respected Colleagues,
Greetings from the SATU Presidents’ Forum International Secretariat.
We are pleased to announce that the 2026 SATU Joint Research Scheme (JRS) is now open and invites applications for Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PIs) across SATU member universities. We warmly encourage your participation in strengthening regional collaboration and advancing impactful, forward-looking research partnerships.
Launched in 2012, the JRS serves as a matching platform for scholars across SATU member institutions to establish international research collaborations. Over the years, the scheme has gained significant momentum, with matched projects increasing from 61 in 2019 to 174 in 2020. This growth highlights the important role JRS continues to play in fostering meaningful academic partnerships.
Please note that SATU does not provide funding support for JRS projects.
We kindly invite you to review the current research proposals at the link below:

If you are interested in collaborating as a Co-PI, please submit your application by May 31, 2026 via the following form:

Following submission, your expression of interest will be shared with the respective Principal Investigators (PIs) for review. If accepted, the International Secretariat will facilitate the connection.
For any enquiries, please feel free to contact Rebecca at satu@iitb.ac.in.
We look forward to your active participation in this year’s JRS.
With warm regards,
Rebecca
